Dr. Richards attended school at Indiana University School of Optometry where she graduated as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society in 2020. She completed clinical training at Indianapolis Eye Care Center, Whitewater Eye Centers, Yukon Kuskokwim Health Clinic in Alaska, and the VA hospital of Lexington, KY. She worked in a heavy medical practice in Martinsville, VA her first 2 years out of college before returning to her home state of Ohio in 2022. Dr. Richards has experience treating a wide variety of eye diseases including diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataract co-management, and pediatric exams. Dr. Richards also has experience in scleral lens fittings. She enjoys practicing full-scope optometry and strives to provide individual based care to patients of all ages.
Dr. Richards and her husband reside in Hicksville, OH with their daughter Beckley and newfoundland dog Otis. They attend Hicksville Cornerstone church. In her free time, she enjoys making memories with her family, reading, gardening, and trying new hobbies.
